Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation, in their endeavour to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admission to the member institutions, have formed “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” (COMEDK).
“COMEDK” is an autonomous institution consisting of senior academicians and reputed administrative officers who have been associated in educational eco system. This autonomous COMEDK was entrusted the responsibility to organize testing procedures to determine the merit of aspiring students in an effective, fair, transparent and non-exploitative procedure by KPCF (Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation – Medical & Dental) and KUPECA (Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association).
COMEDK 2018 Important Dates
Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) an autonomous institution consisting of senior academicians and reputed administrative officers conducts state level online entrance exam for the benefit of students aspiring admission in Engineering course.
COMEDK, which runs the evaluation process for the members of KUPECA i.e around 190 Engineering colleges has released important dates for COMEDK UGET 2018 exam, read below for details:

COMEDK 2018 Eligibility Criteria
COMEDK has published eligibility criteria for UGET 2018 examination for UG courses. The eligibility criteria include academic qualification, aggregate marks, combination of subjects, etc is as follows:
For UG Engineering Courses
- The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. is Second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State / Central Government.
- The subjects to be studied in 12th/Second PUC are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- Minimum aggregate for General candidates is 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Whereas the minimum aggregate for SC, ST and OBC candidates is 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
COMEDK 2018 Application Form
COMEDK UGET Application form 2018 is made available for COMEDK aspirants on 16th January 2018, online registration will be open till 19th April 2018. Aspirants can attempt for a combined single exam for both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE. Important points to be remembered before filling the form:
- Candidate’s Name: Enter your full Name (as it appears in your SSLC/10th Std Marks Card), In case of a candidate who has changed his/ her name for any reason, the original proof of the same has to be produced at the time of admission.
- Date of Birth: DOB to be entered as per 10th/SSLC Marks card only.
- Email-ID: Enter your valid Email ID for all correspondence.
- Mobile No: Enter your Mobile number. Enter OTP received so as to verify the mobile number entered.
COMEDK 2018 Time Table
COMEDK UGET 2018 Time Table contains Number of subjects,, Examination Date (13th May 2018), Examination time, Total marks, Duration of Exam (3 hours). COMEDK UGET is conducted Online mode.
Subjects for COMEDK exam include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Question paper consists of 180 MCQs. For each correct answer one mark will be rewarded. See the division of marks below:

COMEDK 2018 Exam centres
COMEDK UGET 2018 Exam centres is based on exam cities choosed by candidates. For the current year examination is held in 140 exam centers across India. While filling application form, candidates can choose 3 Convenient Exam centers.
COMEDK 2018 Admit Card
Online Test Admission Ticket will be available under applicant login of the COMEDK website, candidates must obtain the printout of Online Test Admission Ticket (Online TAT). Candidates will not be allowed to write the COMEDK UGET 2018 without the print out of Online Test Admission Ticket along with other documents indicated thereon. Also, candidates have to retain the TAT for counseling and until the completion of the Admission process.
Steps to download COMEDK UGET 2018 Test Admission Ticket (TAT)
- Visit COMEDK UGET website.
- Click on ‘Login COMEDK UGET Application’.
- Enter Application Seq No / User ID, Password.
- Click on Login.
- View Test Admission Ticket and verify the details
- Download the Test Admission Ticket if satisfied with the details
- Take the printout of the same.
COMEDK 2018 Exam Pattern
COMEDK UGET 2018 exam will be conducted online across multiple exam centres. COMEDK UGET exam will have a total of 180 questions. Candidates can take up mock test on the official website to get acquainted with the computer based exam.

COMEDK 2018 Answer Keys
Candidates can to access the provisional COMEDK UGET 2018 answer key on May 17th 2018. The answer key for COMEDK UGET 2018 will consist all the correct responses to the questions asked in the entrance examination. The candidates will have to submit their user id and password to download the answer key.
Using the COMEDK UGET answer key 2018, the candidates can calculate their probable score before the official announced of result. Candidates can challenge the provisional COMEDK UGET 2018 answer key till May 21. After considering all of the objections, the authorities of COMEDK will release the final answer key on 25th May, 2018
COMEDK 2018 Results
COMEDK UGET 2018 Results will be announced by authority, Test Score card will be released (on 28th May 2018) after Final Answer keys are published. Candidates can Pay fee and seek clarification on Provisional Answer keys. Final Merit, Inter-se merit and Online rank card details.
Provisional answer keys will be published on 17th May, 2018 and candidates after checking the answers can object/challenge the provisional answers via online mode on the same day. Objections/challenges can be submitted til 21st May, 2018. Final answer keys will be made available on 25th May, 2018, following which Test Score cards will be released online on 28th May, 2018.
COMEDK 2018 Cutoff
The cutoff of COMEDK UGET 2018 consists of the opening and closing ranks which candidates needs to secure so that they are allotted seats in the participating institute. Candidates need to know the cutoff of COMEDK UGET 2018 for each institute and course.
The COMEDK UGET 2018 cutoff for a course will be based on the number of candidates appearing for the entrance exam, seat availability and difficulty level of the exam. Candidates needs to be aware COMEDK UGET 2018 cutoff which will be separate for each category of students.
COMEDK 2018 Participating Institutions/Colleges
The admission authorities are responsible for announcing the COMEDK UGET 2018 participating institutes. Colleges and institutes which offer B.Tech admissions based on COMEDK UGET scores.
During the counselling and seat allotment process of 2018 COMEDK UGET, the candidates, who are qualified in entrance exam, can select their preferred engineering institute. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidates selection, his/her ranking and the availability of the seat. Twelve participating institutes of COMEDK UGET 2018 will also be accepting Uni-GAUGE examination scores for admissions.
COMEDK 2018 Counselling
COMEDK UGET Counselling for the year 2018 will be conducted in the month of June/July tentatively. Candidates must register and pay counselling fee in order to participate in the counselling process. And carry all the necessary documents for verification during the process. Registered candidates will have to select, fill and lock their choice of courses and institutes according to their preference. COMEDK authority will conduct mock allotment to help students in familiarizing the process. After mock seat allotment, provision to change and modify preferences will be given to the candidates and the final seat allotment will be done based on the merit and preference of the candidates.

COMEDK 2018 Reservation
Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has declared the reservation criteria for candidates who are appearing for COMEDK UGET 2018. Candidates who belong to reserved category should fill the application form of COMEDK UGET 2018 and specify their category to which they belong to in the application form.
COMEDK UGET reservation of seats 2018 are available for different categories such as General Merit (GM), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) on Karnataka Basis, Tulu / Telugu / Tamil / Christian minority communities and candidates from Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) region. Candidates are required to produce a valid certificate in case of reserved category at the time of counselling to get seats under the COMEDK UGET reservation of seats 2018. Candidates who are not be able to produce proof will not be allotted seats under the COMEDK UGET 2018 reserved categories.
COMEDK 2018 Seat Allotment
The seat allotment of COMEDK UGET 2018 is part of the counselling process where candidates will be allotted seats in the participating institutes. Candidates with higher rank in the merit list will be given preference over the lower rank. Candidates can take decision after verifying the seat allotted to them by choosing either of the options – upgrade/reject/accept/withdraw. Candidates who accept the allotted seat can download their verification entry card after the payment of fee through online mode and the same must be produced at the time of document verification.
All qualified candidates must personally report for document and bio metric verification at the counselling venue.

Step 1- Scroll down and view the choices available like accept, upgrade and reject.
Step 2- Select the required option and click on ‘Proceed’ button
Step 3- You can pay the tuition fees of Rs 50,000 via online mode or can download the payment receipt from ‘Document required for verification’ tab and pay the fee through DD.
Step 4- After fee payment, candidate will be called for document verification and then he/she will have to report to college to complete further formalities.
