KEAM, (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical )is an entrance examination series for admissions to various professional degree courses in the state of Kerala, India. It is conducted by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams run by the Government of Kerala. Kerala Govt recently started a programme for KEAM Coaching named as PEECS.
The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up to conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses .The Higher Education Department in the Secretariat is functioning as the administrative department of the Commisionerate of Entrance Examinations. The Commissionerate has been conducting thirteen Entrance Examinations, both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professional Courses. Of these examinations conducted in a time bound manner and catering to the needs of the aspirants of Professional Courses, the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM) is the major one in which near about one lakh seventy thousand candidates participate every year.
The Commissionerate is usually making allotments to all the Government seats in Government Colleges, the Government and Management quota seats in Government Controlled Self-financing Colleges and the seats made available by Private Self-financing Managements to Government for allotment.

Engineering courses:Students are tested on topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taught in the 11th and 12th grade Kerala State Education Board Higher Secondary Examinations and similar boards and national boards such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. The entrance exam is in two parts. Part I is Mathematics and Part II is Physics and Chemistry
Admission to Medical Courses:Admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, Agricultural, Forestry, Fisheries and Veterinary courses will be based on NEET-UG 2018. Those candidates who wish to be considered for the allotment in Medical & Allied Courses in Kerala State should be qualified in NEET-UG 2018.
Admission to Architecture course:The Architecture Rank list will be prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the ‘National Aptitude Test in Architecture’ (NATA), conducted by the Council of Architecture, and the marks in the qualifying examination.
