MHT CET 2018 Introduction
The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The degree courses of the following streams are mainly accounted for the entrance exam in Engineering, Pharmacy.
Earlier the test scores were also used for admissions to Medical degree courses. The test is conducted in offline mode. After the Supreme Court of India hammered the deduction for NEET for Medical colleges; MHT-CET is scrapped for medical colleges.

MHT CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
MHT CET is prescribed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra. It is the authority which regulates MHT CET examination. It is a state level examination which is organized for providing admission to the UG courses, i.e. engineering and technology, pharmacy & Pharm.D and agriculture.
The eligibilty criteria includes requirements related to domicile, age, educational qualification, qualifying exam and the marks scored in it, subject combination in the qualifying test, etc.For admissions into the participating institutes of the state level engineering entrance exam through MHT CET cell all candidates should fulfill the MHT CET eligibility criteria 2018. If candidates is found ineligible at any stage of the admission procedure, would be disqualified, even if they have qualified the examination.
MHT CET 2018 Application Form
Candidates who wants to appear in the MHT CET 2018 should first register by using their Email id to fill the MHT CET application form 2018. After registration, candidates should log in using their Email Id, password and mobile number.

MHT CET 2018 Time Table
Timetable for MHT CET 2018 has been officially released and here are the details for the state level examination which will be conducted on 10th May, 2018 at various exam centres. The examination will be conducted in offline mode and it consists of 3 papers - Paper 1 for Mathematics, Paper 2 for Physics and Chemistry and Paper 3 for Biology.

MHT CET 2018 Admit Card
Admit card for MHTCET 2018 will be released on official website on 24th April, 2018, candidates can download the admit card through candidate login, wherein the registered candidates login using their credentials and download the admit card.

MHT CET 2018 Exam Pattern
MHT CET 2018 is a state level entrance exam conducted for candidates aspiring seats in Technical and Agricultural courses. It is an offline (pen and paper based) exam consisting of 3 papers. Candidates can choose the paper according to their course preference.
It is mandatory for the candidate to appear for both Paper I and Paper II, if he/she is seeking admission to first year Engineering and Technology degree courses.
It is mandatory for the candidate to appear for Paper II as well as in Paper I and/or Paper III, if he/she is seeking admission to first year Pharmacy / Pharm. D. degree course.

MHT CET 2018 Answer Keys
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra will release the provisional answer key tentatively in the last week of May 2018. The provisional answer key of MHT CET 2018 will be available for all the versions of the question paper .The answer key will be separately released for all the subjects – physics, chemistry and mathematics.
By comparing their answers with those given in the corresponding MHT CET 2018 answer key, candidates can estimate their scores before the actual results are declared. When calculating the probable score using the answer key, the candidate must follow the MHTCET Exam Pattern Marking scheme
MHT CET 2018 Exam centre
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra is conducting the entrance examination across the state in various Exam Centres of MHT CET 2018.The exam centers will be allotted based on the district from where the candidate has qualified their 10+29or equivalent) exam.Therefore, all candidates should provide valid information while filling the online application form of MHT CET 2018. The candidates who do not belong to Maharashtra state have to select their preferred MHT CET 2018 exam centre during registration process.
MHT CET examination will be held in all districts of Maharashtra and each district will have a divisional authority. The MHT CET 2018 will be conducted on May 10, 2018. Candidates can check MHT CET 2018 exam centres from the list provided in the article.
MHT CET 2018 Results
The Competent Authority will conduct the examination, evaluate the answer sheets and declare the result on or before 3rd June, 2018.
The result will be declared online on website - www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/MHT CET2018 as per the schedule. Provisional Answer key of each version of question paper & OMR Answer sheet will be made available on official website, also the OMR Sheet will be available to each candidate after entering Password and Registration ID.

MHT CET 2018 Cutoff
Cut off is the closing rank or the minimum score/rank required by the candidate to be considered eligible for further rounds of counselling and admission to the courses.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra will publish the MHT CET 2018 cutoff and candidates who qualify can register for counselling process. Cut off for each CAP (Centralised Allotment Process) rounds will be published as per the schedule. Two separate cut off lists will be published for All India candidates and Maharashtra candidates.

MHT CET 2018 Participating Institutions/Colleges
The candidates can check the list of MHT CET participating institutes 2018 for the previous session to know which institutes are likely to offer admissions. The entrance examination of MHT CET 2018 will be conducted for admissions into around 200 engineering institutes. MHT CET 2018 participating institutes will be located in Maharashtra Amravati, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik and Pune. The allotment of the eligible candidates to the participating institutes of MHT CET 2018 will be done during the seat allotment process.

MHT CET 2018 Counselling
MHT CET 2018 counselling process will be conducted by the DTE Maharashtra .Candidates have to register for counselling process of MHT CET 2018 tentatively from the first week of June 2018. The final date for registration will be tentatively in the third week of June 2018.
Candidates who qualify MHT CET 2018 examination are eligible for MHT CET counselling 2018. Registered candidates have to report at the facilitation centres and get their documents. Online submission of preferred choice of courses and colleges also have to be done by the candidates in MHT CET 2018 counselling.

MHT CET 2018 Reservation
Maharashtra conducts MHTCET, where candidates are offered admission to various Professional degree courses in Maharashtra colleges. As per Maharashtra government, reserved categories candidates are granted a certain number of seats, provided they are residents of Maharashtra.

MHT CET 2018 Seat Allotment
Candidates has to register for the MHT CET seat allotment 2018 and fill in their options after documents are verified. MHT CET 2018 seat allotment process is conducted online through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).
The candidates will be able to download their allotment letter in online mode and has to report at the MHT CET reporting centres to select their preferred option (freeze, float or slide) for the allotted seat. Finally, the allotted candidates has to confirm their admission at the allotted institute. The seat allotment of MHT CET 2018 will be conducted in three rounds.
